Trade Show season is in full swing here at Managed Sales Pros!  As we are located in one of the coldest cities in North America, you’d better believe we take full advantage of events held in sunnier climates!

Managed Sales Pros just returned from an incredible week at the Arizona Grand in Phoenix.  It was an absolute pleasure to be invited by the Ingram Micro Cloud team.

I tried not to think too much about Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger’s address on the flight home – but I can tell you that I have never seen a room on the edge of their seats the way we all were while watching the replay of the “Miracle on the Hudson” landing in real time.  What will be the most important 208 seconds of YOUR life?  What are you getting ready for every day?  How will people remember you?  Excellent questions, and I was happy to have the opportunity to hear Mr. Sullenberger speak.

This was my third Cloud Summit, and I appreciate the small details that Ingram pays attention to – the organized morning group runs, especially!  We attended the Women in the Channel session, the Canadian cocktail party (eh) hosted by Microsoft, and as many sessions as we could find time for.  I especially enjoyed the sales content provided by Ken at Acumen Management Group.  The Microsoft after party was the only channel after party in Pacific time that I’ve ever made it to.  No word of a lie.

At Cloud Summit this year, Ingram Micro introduced a new partner reward program, Elevate.  Managed Sales Pros was chosen as one of six vendors for this program.  Ingram Micro has selected some fantastic companies that can provide their partners with support in some key areas, including:

  • sales and marketing training
  • marketing programs and collateral development
  • business transformation, and
  • lead generation (that’s us!)

If you are an Ingram Micro partner looking to grow your cloud revenues with Ingram this year, I encourage you to sign up for the Elevate program.  It will provide you with attractive incentives including discounted pricing for Managed Sales Pros calling programs.    Thank you to the partners that signed up at the show — our boardroom was packed all day, and we were grateful to have some one-on-one time with those who were interested in learning more about us.

Our good friends and clients MSPCFO will also be offering Ingram Micro Elevate Partners an attractive discount on their business intelligence platform – if you are struggling to become a more profitable MSP, MSPCFO can help you identify at the client level – using data pulled in real time from your PSA – which of your accounts are profitable and which should be re-examined.  It’s an incredible tool at an unbelievable price — and Elevate makes it even more affordable for you!

Thank you so much to Christine Leny and her team for their hard work putting together such a fabulous week for partners and vendors.  The event was top-notch, and the tech fair was well attended.  Our pals from Autotask were there and speaking about their new endpoint management and RMM offering.  This should be a very exciting time for them.  We’ll look forward to learning more at Autotask Community Live.  We’re heading out to the Trump Doral in Miami, May 17-19, 2015.  You can register for it here.  If you recall, last year we learned that Autotask had been acquired by Vista Equity Partners.  I wonder what big news they will have for us this year?

Looking forward to a little bit of downtime between shows.  If you’re hoping to catch our stylin’ dance moves before May 17, you can look for us at HTG Q2 in Dallas May 3-9,  or at the Spring IMOne in Orlando May 3-6.  If you will be any of these events and would like to chat, I encourage you to send us an email to hello@managedsalespros.com and set up a time to meet one of us in person!

See you on the road!
