Managed Sales Pros is proud to be an HTG Peer Groups Gold Sponsor for 2015. The Q2 meeting marked my first time in Dallas, TX.
We saw many of our clients on-site – it is always a pleasure to be able to sit down for a drink or a coffee (or for a dozen coffees, in the case of IT Glue, Desk Director, and Wise Sync) face to face with our clients, peers, and prospects.
I had the opportunity to sit in on one of the QBR reports during my Seat at the Table this round. We have always been huge proponents of HTG, and we’ve seen first hand how our clients businesses have grown through their participation in the HTG program. I was genuinely floored this event by the level of engagement the group members have with each other, and how freely they share their best practices with their peers . If you are an MSP struggling to achieve your business goals, I encourage you to reach out to HTG Peer Groups and begin the application process to participate.
We had the chance to learn about some new products and services for the MSP market this week – we had already had the opportunity to see IT Glue’s documentation management solution in action, as they’ve been partners of ours since their launch — it was very rewarding to see the large crowds surrounding their kiosk at the Monday and Thursday evening “Unbooth” tradeshows.
We first met DeskDirector, The HTG Q2 Event Sponsor, at IT Nation in 2014. They hopped on a 15 hour flight to participate in several North American channel events this quarter, and we had several opportunities to meet with CEO Phill Claxton at the event. We didn’t deep dive, as our booth is located right next to theirs next week at Autotask Community Live in Miami! We will have plenty of time to see DD in action then and we’re looking forward to learning more.
Wise-Sync had several team members from their New York and Australia offices present, and over many, many, many enormous plates of delicious Texas BBQ, we learned about their Xero integration for Connectwise. Especially exciting were some of the case studies shared — they’ve saved some MSPs up to $100,000.00 annually by helping them migrate to the Xero platform from paper based and Quickbooks accounting solutions. We understand after speaking with CEO Paul MacNeill (also managing director of Australia’s Virage IT), that their new integrations will be just as exciting and bring even more value to the Connectwise ecosystem.
As for our team, this quarter we came to HTG not to sell our services, but to really ask the MSP market a question: “What do you want us to sell you?”
The answers were enlightening, sometimes surprising, and all were brutally honest – we appreciate the time that the peer groups who hosted us spent to share their experiences, and we of course value the loyalty of the customers we support currently. The channel has spoken, and we’ll be rolling up our sleeves to begin developing new products and services to really support you in the ways you’ve told us are most useful to you, at price points that will be accessible for the entire channel.
If you’re a current Managed Sales Pros client, or you’re currently considering our services for your market — don’t worry — we will still continue to offer you the same territory-protected sales appointment setting programs you have been using to build your MSP sales pipelines!
We will test our new ideas in various markets throughout the US. Current and potential clients will be called upon to help us out at extremely competitive rates. Want to be a guinea pig? Let us know!
Next stop for Managed Sales Pros is Autotask Community Live in Miami, FL – there is still time to register. Autotask was kind enough to allow us to check out their event as attendees last year — the caliber of the event was so high we couldn’t wait to be invited to sponsor it this year. Very much looking forward to this one! If you’re attending, make sure you swing by our booth.
Stay tuned for our recap of the IMOne event in Orlando, Florida!
