Just back from Autotask Community Live, and what a week it was!  Autotask knows how to throw a party.  Tigers, fedoras, cigars, cocktails…it had it all.

We personally kicked off #CommLive a day early in South Beach where we invited local MSPs and #CommLive early birds to join us for a fun filled day in the sun at The Fontainebleau South Beach, and an even more fun evening at the ultra posh poolside bar at The Delano South Beach.

We were pleased to join Desk Director, ITGlue, BVoIP, and ConnectBooster for their MSP Superhero promotion, and two lucky winners received Surface Pros from what we now refer to as “The Consortium”.  Congratulations to the winners — our second winner put his business card in for the drawing only 15 minutes before the winners were drawn.  Lesson here?  You can’t win if you don’t play.

Thanks to the hundreds of MSPs that came by our booth, and our partners’ booths.  We know you have the option to skip out on the trade show floor if you want to, and we truly appreciate it when companies take the time to thank the sponsors – that free booze you’re enjoying gets paid for with sponsor dollars, you know!

Our friends at BVoIP won best integration – and rightly so, they’re doing some amazing things!  If you haven’t taken a look, we encourage you to do so.

We first saw an example of a DoubleDutch mobile event app at Datto‘s partner conference last year — and it was one of the most-used and most-enjoyed apps we’ve ever seen.  Autotask used DoubleDutch for their CommLive2015 app, and it did not disappoint – attendees were informed, highly engaged and racing for top placement on the leader board with a pair of super snazzy headphones (and bragging rights, of course) on the line.

The tradeshow floor is open on and off all day at #CommLive, which didn’t leave us much time to sit in on sessions.  We got caught up with integrated manufacturer and distributor Aisle8, and were pleased to meet some new faces, including the UK-based outsourced NOC and service desk firm Inbay.  We did not get the opportunity to see Autotask Endpoint Management in action, but the demo room was wall to wall all day.

We have some exciting Autotask-related news of our own to reveal shortly, so stay tuned.

Next stop for Managed Sales Pros is the Datto Partner Conference June 15-17 in New Orleans.

Then a little break from the road, and back at it for CompTIA Channel Con in Chicago, August 3-5, followed by HTG Peer Groups Q3 in Minneapolis.
