Our tenth day of giving gift actually comes from an industry association that we are proud to be a part of.
Every year CompTIA donates $1000.00 to the charity of our choice through their Tech Leaders Giving Circle.
This year, CompTIA donated $1000.00 on our behalf to The Shade Tree Las Vegas, a shelter for homeless women and children. The Shade Tree’s mandate is to provide safe shelter to homeless and abused women and children in crisis and to offer life-changing services promoting stability, dignity, and self-reliance.
Not only have we donated to The Shade Tree, we are working with The Shade Tree to create employment readiness programming, and we actively recruit new team members from their program. We are excited to partner with The Shade Tree, and other similar organizations in Las Vegas, to provide job training, and opportunities for employment to those whose resumes may not reflect their true abilities. Many of us are only one bad life experience or poor choice away from homelessness. Rebuilding a life takes time and support.
One of our core values here at Managed Sales Pros is “Serve Others.” I can think of no better way to be of service than to help the members of our community find and keep paid employment.
