16th Annual ATHENA® International Awards and WCCNV Legacy Foundation

7th Annual Legacy Entertainment, Performing Arts and Media Award scholarship Fundraiser “Achieving Your Dreams through Education”

Las Vegas, Nevada, August 8, 2019 – The Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada will celebrate the 16th Annual ATHENA® International Leadership Awards on September 27, 2019. The ceremony will be held at The Stirling Club with a VIP Champagne Reception in The Veranda Room sponsored by Laura and Kevin Fairchild, beginning at 11:15am, lunch and awards program will commence at 11:45am in The Stirling Room with extraordinary raffle prizes. Co-Master of Ceremonies John Huck, Award Winning News Anchor with FOX5 News and Kelly Clinton-Holmes, 2015 Entertainer of the Year.  Performance by: Kelly Clinton Holmes, Elisa Fiorillo and Magaly Munoz-Mejorado.

The Athena® International Awards is the main award fundraising event of the year.  All net proceeds benefit “At Risk” female high school students with scholarships for higher education and postsecondary education through the chambers WCCNV Legacy Foundation 501(c) (3) charity and distributed by The Public Education Foundation.

ATHENA® Non-Profit Organization Award recipient:  Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas.  Lawrence Wayne Ruvo, Keep Memory Alive.

Minority Lifetime Achievement Award recipient: Honorable Johnnie B. Rawlinson, is a United States Circuit Judge of the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and a former United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.
