It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Every year, instead of gift baskets and cards, we choose 12 different charities to donate to.

Normally our team chooses the organizations that we donate to, and this year we asked our clients what organizations were near and dear to them. We chose a combination of suggestions, and it is my great joy to write about the organizations we chose. So, without further adieu, I present Day One!

On the first day of giving, Managed Sales Pros (and our US sister company, Everywhere Managed) bought ONE group activity kit for Beads of Courage.

Beads of Courage is an organization that gifts special beads to children going through treatments for serious illnesses. Our team receives a kit to create our gift, and then we send beads and words of encouragement to children who collect the beads. There are currently over 600 children on the wait list for this special program, and every $100.00 donated takes one child off of the waititng list!

We liked the idea of a group activity that our team could share in, and creating something special together is in line with our core values and the spirit of the holidays!

You can host your own group activity and/or donate to Beads of Courage here:

We #BelieveInBeads this Christmas!

Beads of Courage was the suggstion shared by MSPMom, Sharon Lagace. For those of you who don’t know the story of how #12DaysOfGiving started, Sharon gifted our CEO with 40 Random Acts of Kindness (#RAKs) on her 40th birthday, and opened a secret gmail account that Carrie was given access to on her birthday. Sharon then invited people from everywhere to do a #RAK in Carrie’s name and email the gmail account – Carrie received emails all year with examples of kindness from all over the world. It is our hope that the 12 Days of Giving inspires other companies to do the same with their teams and clients!
