I have arrived back in the Managed Sales Pros Las Vegas office after my trip to Florida for Autotask Community Live last week, and we are preparing to launch several new clients including MSPs in Toronto, Philly, Milwaukee and Denver!

The theme of this week was water, water everywhere….from the fantastic storms at the event venue on Hallandale Beach to deep sea fishing and scuba diving with partners new and old! If only there had been a single wave for surfing!  (Here we are with the team of Midwest Computer Consulting.  We caught some pretty big King Mackerels, but no Sharks.  Better luck next time.)

900 partners + a room full of vendors = some fantastic engagement. For the first time that I can recall in my time in the channel, there was an entire table of women networking impromptu with each other at the Autotask Workplace cocktail hour.  The group included solution providers, vendors and press from both NA and EMEA sharing their stories about how they are engaging with Autotask.  As a business owned and managed by women, we’re always excited to see women collaborating, exchanging ideas and encouraging each other.   Chalk that up as a win for #womeninthechannel

The vendor area was open throughout the entire event, and we had a chance to talk with several solution providers and our fellow vendors over great food and drinks. (The charcuterie board was a great idea!) There was even enough time for me to take a few demos from vendors we have been looking at for a while now.  Always nice to see BVoip, Connectbooster and the ITGlue crew!   (Members of the Original MSP Consortium)

The Tiki party sponsored by Webroot was the perfect way to end the event. Lemurs, Webrootinis, lots of great seating, and a fantastic band had the crowd mixing and mingling. Did I mention the lemurs?  (Please enjoy this picture of a lemur eating Carrie Simpson’s hair…)

I had a chance to catch the “party guys” from Ergos in action and while I had to avoid the Webrootinis because I was diving the next day, I hear they were awesome!  We’ll look forward to next year’s Autotask Community Live, we understand dates have already been secured at the same venue.
